Once upon a time, in a land far away in the East, an unexpected meeting took place in a magnificent palace. Up there, in a rich and powerful kingdom, Emperor Hong led a great Empire. In the midst of the peace that was possessed, a meeting took place between two different worlds---the world of the great Chinese kingdom and the world of Islam that flourished in the archipelago.
Sunan Jati, a wise scholar and founder of a glorious Sultanate full of Allah's grace, had made a long journey from Java, the archipelago to the mainland of China in the far north. His journey was not only to strengthen relations between the two kingdoms, but also to pave the way for the spread of Islamic teachings in the land of China. With Arab blood flowing in his veins, he brought a message of peace, love, and profound teachings.

Upon his arrival in the capital, Sunan Jati was received with honor by Emperor Hong, who saw great potential in diplomatic relations between the Empire he led and the Islamic kingdoms in Southeast Asia. However, what was even more unexpected was the invitation to meet with Princess Sun, the wife of Prince Zhu, a woman known for her wisdom.
Puteri Sun, a calm and caring woman, welcomed Sunan Jati's arrival with curiosity and respect. He heard a lot about the greatness of this Javanese saint--about his patience and devotion to the people, as well as his teachings that brought peace. He was curious whether the man in front of him was really who people said he was.
In a room filled with the fragrance of flowers and the cool breeze from the palace garden, they met. Princess Sun sat quietly, dressed in elegant royal attire, while Sunan Jati, dressed in simple but dignified attire, stood respectfully.
"Your Highness Princess..." said Sunan Jati, his voice soft but full of strength, "I have come to strengthen the relationship between my land, a land full of religious greatness, and your great kingdom."
Princess Sun smiled, looking at the man in front of her. "I heard a lot about your journey, Sunan. You came from far away, bringing peaceful teachings. What made you want to spread these teachings far from your homeland?"
Sunan Jati sat before the Princess, his eyes shining with deep conviction. "Religion, Your Majesty, is not just a ritual, but a way of life. Islam teaches us to respect one another, to love one another, and to seek peace. I believe that peace can unite all differences."
Princess Sun listened intently, impressed by the calm and wisdom that radiated from Sunan's words. She knew that Sunan Jati's arrival was not just about politics, but about something much bigger---a bridge for peace between nations and religions.
"What you bring from your land," Princess Sun asked, "can have a great influence on this land, as it has on your own. But our world is full of differences. How can we ensure that these teachings are well received here?"
Sunan Jati bowed his head for a moment, considering the question. "Your Majesty, differences are not barriers. We all come from the same source, and we all yearn for peace. I believe that everyone, wherever they are, can accept the values of kindness, compassion, and justice. Our job is to convey that message with wisdom."
Princess Sun paused for a moment, contemplating Sunan's words. She felt an extraordinary peace in this meeting, something more than just a conversation between two people from different backgrounds. There was a spiritual bond that was formed, an understanding that peace could grow from different roots, as long as it was planted with love and understanding.
"Your teachings, Sunan, are something that can enrich our world. We will help you, and our kingdom will support the spread of the peace you bring," Empress Sun said, her voice full of sincerity.
Sunan Jati smiled, and respectfully bowed. "Thank you, Your Majesty. May peace always be with us all."
That night, under the soft moonlight, two different worlds touched. Princess Sun and Sunan Jati, though from very different backgrounds, found common ground in their goals---to bring peace and prosperity to humanity. The story of their meeting will be remembered as a symbol of peace between nations, where two wise hearts met, uniting in vision for a better future.
After the meeting, news of Sunan Jati's arrival and his meeting with Princess Sun spread among the court and the people. Some took it as a good sign that their country was open to outside wisdom, while others felt curious about the teachings brought by Sunan, teachings that were able to attract the attention of the wise princess.
Princess Sun, inspired by their conversation, invited the palace scholars to learn more about the peaceful teachings of Islam. She felt that this new understanding could bring balance and enrich spirituality in the palace. Sunan Jati, with great patience, taught several basic principles such as the importance of brotherhood, justice, and compassion for one another. Meanwhile, several conservative palace officials watched this development with caution.
They were worried that the changes brought by Sunan could disrupt the traditional order. However, Princess Sun, with her wisdom, assured that accepting knowledge from outside was not a sign of weakness, but rather a strength to continue learning and developing. Over time, Sunan's teachings began to attract the attention of students and thinkers in China. Discussions about the values of goodness, patience, and justice became hot topics of conversation in the palace halls and the homes of scholars. Princess Sun herself sometimes joined in these discussions, showing how much interest she had in new ideas. One day, Sunan Jati was invited to the palace garden for a small banquet attended by several court thinkers. Princess Sun, clad in an ivory silk robe, smiled to greet him. "Sunan, do you feel that your teachings have been of benefit here?" she asked with a warm look.
Sunan Jati, his eyes gleaming with gratitude, replied, "Your Majesty, if one seed of goodness can grow into a shady tree, then this journey is more than enough. I see that the seed is beginning to grow in the hearts of those who receive it." Princess Sun nodded, feeling a peace she had rarely felt before. She knew that amid the palace walls full of intrigue and interest, there was a corner now filled with hope and wisdom born of her encounter with Sunan Jati. "If our worlds can learn from each other and share goodness," Sunan continued, "then our differences are not barriers, but paths to complement each other." The days passed in peace and growing curiosity. Sunan Jati finally had to return to his homeland, bringing with him sweet memories and valuable experiences from his journey. Before he left,
Princess Sun gave him a souvenir in the form of a dragon and phoenix carving, a symbol of harmony and strength. "Sunan, take this as a sign of our friendship and hope for eternal peace," said Princess Sun. With emotion, Sunan Jati accepted it and said, "Thank you, Your Majesty, may the peace we plant today bear fruit in the future, connecting generations yet to be born."
Princess Sun smiled as she said, "Thank you too, Sunan..may your hopes be blessed by God".

When an invitation from Emperor Hong was about to be received again, Sunan Jati.
"Sunan, Sir, please attend the Emperor's invitation tonight at the palace," said a matter politely while bowing.
"The Emperor's invitation? God willing, I will come," answered Sunan Jati no less politely but with authority.
"Yes, Sir Sunan... Welcome back.. I beg your leave", said the heads of affairs a moment later.
With a smile, Sunan Jati replied, "Please, Sirs". Sunan Jati invited them to leave his resting place.
After the heads of affairs returned, Sunan Jati returned to sitting cross-legged and meditating remembering Allah, the Creator of the universe, the Almighty and Almighty.
"Astaghfirullah...astaghfirullah..astaghfirulloh..." said Sunan Jati softly while turning the small prayer beads in his right hand.
"O Allah, Lord of the Universe, forgive the mistakes of my servant and both parents and my teachers and all Muslims..."..
Sunan Jati continued meditating until a member of his entourage asked permission to speak.
"Knock knock knock" The sound of a knock on the door.
"Assalamu'alaikum, Sunan.." Again a voice was heard from outside the residence.
"Wa'laikum salam..yes please come in, Abdulloh..." Sunan Jati answered softly.
Abdulloh opened the door and politely entered the living room of the Sunan's residence provided by the palace. Abdulloh sat on a chair as he usually did when he intended to meet Sunan Jati.
Sunan Jati ended his dhikr by praying for safety for himself, his family, friends and all people throughout the world.
Sunan Jati then walked out of his private room and approached Abdulloh.
"Abdulloh..please drink your tea..." Sunan Gunung Jati politely invited Abdulloh.
"Thank you, Sir", replied Abdulloh with a happy smile.
"Hi, try those snacks, cakes typical of this great country. Right? The cakes from the emperor's palace are ...very delicious huh..", while smiling Sunan Jati again Sunan Jati invited the members of his group. Sunan Jati also took a piece of the white, soft and sweet cake..
" Bismillah..." Said Sunan Jati when he was about to eat the moon cake sent by the emperor's palace.
After a while Abdulloh began to say to Sunan Jati, "My goodness, Sir... will Sunan attend the Emperor's invitation to the palace tonight?"
Without hesitation Sunan Jati answered, "Yes.. I will attend the invitation, Abdulloh..".
" Emmh okay, Sir.. I will prepare Mr. Sunan's needs as best as possible. But Sir, please be careful..." Abdullah replied.
Smiling, Sunan Jati replied, "Thank you Adulloh, you are indeed a good and loyal servant..God willing, nothing will happen that will endanger me and all of us....".
"Aamiin..." Abdullah replied while raising both hands..
"If so, I will excuse myself, Sir.." Abdullah said then.
"Please...and don't forget my message to all members of the group to always maintain their attitude and words when we are later in the palace." Sunan Jati said with authority.
"Yes, Sir..we will always remember your advice and carry it out as best we can." Abdullah replied while bowing his head deeply.
"Thank you...please.." said Sunan Jati then while inviting his loyal servant to leave the residence.
